I was disappointed to see the massive spending bill, frankly,
Both Trump and Musk seem very fond of that word- “frankly”.
And both often drop it at the end of a thought, rather than at the beginning, as if it is an afterthought, as if it’s a plea for believability.
Compare tat with the force of a voice speaking the following:
“Frankly, Scarlett, I don’t give a damn.”
Even though the last sentence was spoken by a fictional character, at least it’s well done fiction, and is strangely, more believable
Not like the fictional script being mouthed by the jokers in Washington.
Authenticity…… seems like the quality is in short supply these days. And not just among Republicans.
