More to the point, and fodder for conspiracy theorists, should he be elected in November (and the stock still exist) it provides a convenient and legal way for foreign nations, actors both bad and otherwise to funnel monies directly to him personally

He should just create a charity organization. Maybe name it "Trump Global Initiative Foundation". There is precedence for that.
