Trump publicly dismisses his energy secretary over gas price prediction

President Donald Trump publicly contradicted Energy Secretary Chris Wright's assessment that gas prices will remain elevated through next year, dismissing it as "totally wrong."

Wright told CNN's Jake Tapper on Sunday that prices have "likely peaked" but cautioned the decline might not occur until next year.

Anybody who believes the Felon deserves the reaming they're going to get.

I suppose he could be correct (I don't have a crystal ball), but I see no reason why he would be. The situation is a mess with no signs that Iran is going to start playing nice (why should they?). Locally, gas is around $4.6 (depending on where you go), and diesel is over $6 (not sure why such a difference...they're usually within maybe 30 cents of each other).

Believers better stock up on the K-Y, IMHO.

I drive an EV, so doesn't really affect me much.

Key limitations include incitement to imminent lawless action, true threats, defamation (libel or slander), obscenity, child pornography, fraud, fighting words, and perjury.

A while ago maybe. I think the difference has been greater for a while now.

I first noticed the price of diesel when we bought our RV in the 90’s. It was often less than, perhaps a penny or two more than gas. Just when we bought the RV (or so it seems) the price went up to a half a buck more. Then nearly a dollar, sometimes more.

Chapped my ass, that’s for sure. We got the diesel pusher because the interior layout was better for our particular needs, but I didn’t really care about whether it was diesel or gas; longevity wasn’t an issue as we didn’t use it for tens of thousands of miles.

But yeah, diesel more. Just as I got in the game. (Out now, I’m old.)
