I didn't know DOD bought stock at all. Interesting. And a bit weird. And unsettling. You occasionally hear about pensions being wiped out because of bad investments. The thought the DOD could suffer that is a bit scary. Not that they would be wiped out, just that they could take a hit and have to ask Congress for more money.

It would make more sense to me if they used the money to stockpile the materials.

Yeah, tell us again how Democrats are a bunch of commies.

Trump has his Politburo of yes men, and the Armed Forces is buying up preferred stock in businesses.
