A federal judge on Friday barred federal agents in Minneapolis from arresting peaceful protesters, or using nonlethal munitions and crowd control tools against them.

I see a loophole! This statement doesn't preclude using LETHAL munitions. With the state of ICE today, you can't leave such a gaping loophole. They'll use it.

AP (armor piercing) ammo is available to the public, plus that public is *also* holding FAR MORE WEAPONS than there are ICE creeps in all of MN.

We could also simply TIE each ICE creep to a tree and let them deal with their problem in solitude. Nobody said the tree was in a city--it could be deep in the north woods. One ICE creep per square mile would not be a problem. They got what they wanted--to get in touch.

This order will get overturned on appeal.

Judges simply do not have authority to dictate operational issues in this manner.

The LEOs have to have the ability out in the field to make the best decisions they can, in the moment.

Barring cops from arresting "peaceful protestors"? Have they been doing that?

If you scream in a cop's face with a bullhorn while blocking traffic, is that a "peaceful protest"?

They're not allowed to use crowd control tools?

Why not?

The "loophole" is that the order is a joke. If a judge wants to run a police agency then he or she needs to actually get hired by one.
