Fuentes, a man that Trump dined with at Mar-a-Lago, and who Tucker Carlson had on his podcast to spew his vile racist views for over 2 hours.

“Jews are running society, women need to shut the [expletive] up, Blacks need to be imprisoned for the most part, and we would live in paradise. It’s that simple.”

The Heritage Foundation President was unhappy that the Carlson/Fuentes love fest was criticized:

"Other leading conservatives rushed to Carlson’s defense, including Kevin Roberts, the president of the Heritage Foundation, who threw the Trump-aligned think tank into turmoil when he blasted the “globalist class” for criticizing the segment. Jewish groups, along with numerous Heritage staffers and conservative figures, said the phrase played on antisemitic conspiracy theories."

"The resurgence of the 27-year-old Fuentes, who has argued that immigrants and “organized Jewry” are conspiring to extinguish the white race, has set off bitter infighting among conservative influencers over whether he should be tolerated or denounced.

The fallout is still resounding more than a week later as conservative media figures and influencers choose sides or try to heal a rift that they view as a threat to the cohesion of the Republican Party."

The erstwhile Republican Party has been turned into something very ugly and sick and all it took was one two-bit demagogue and expert grifter and his corrupt fellow grifters and sycophants.

As offered in another thread, the fracture is between the rabid anti-Semites, like Fuentes, who have always been a major part of the MAGA base, and the slaves of the current Israeli regime, who dry to conflate opposition to the Israeli regime's actions, and antisemitism.

slaves of the current Israeli regime, who dry to conflate opposition to the Israeli regime's actions, and antisemitism.

And that’s one of the most cynical and morally bankrupt strategies that a large number of Republicans have attempted to employ for at least 2 decades.

An analogue to that bankrupt strategy has been calling Jews who disagree with Israeli government policy- “self hating Jews”.

There’s nothing like hearing a gentile call a Jew a “self hating Jew” to make you lose your breakfast in the morning.

I think my brother is now succumbing to the globalist conspiracy theory. He talked about it and control a little last time we talked, and I just skipped it.

And that’s one of the most cynical and morally bankrupt strategies that a large number of Republicans have attempted to employ for at least 2 decades.

And it is a well worn tactic. Some recall how Bush dismissed critics of his made up wars abroad and police state tactics at home by questioning their patriotism, with phrases like "they hate America". Hillary Clinton dismissed critics of her, by saying they were against her because of her gender, with phrases like "they have a problem with strong women". They make specific criticism of a single person or policy, an insult to a much wider group, in a cynical ploy to try to rally the entire group behind them, rather than addressing the substance of the criticism.
