Another story about the Webb telescope: apparently the resolution is about twice what was predicted. Nice pictures:

I'm not a subscriber to the NY Times so I couldn't see that article but I have seen Webb pictures elsewhere and they are stunning. Astronomers are excited about what we will learn from those pictures.

I saw a TV science show about the Webb telescope, it's construction, launch and positioning in space and I think they said there were over 300 things that could have gone wrong and derail the mission. Quite an accomplishment.
