I was going to title the post "strong dollar", because it will be the most beautiful, most perfect, dollar in all global dollar history, because it bears the imprimatur of President for Life, Trump, the living God.

I'm surprised Trump, the Living God did not decree his portrait be on bills of all denominations. iirc, there is a law against any living person being on currency, but so what? He's The Living God. Can't tell him what to do.
Recall Plan Steve for coinage rationalization? Drop the nickel, because it costs more than 5 cents to make. Drop the quarter, because, without pennies or nickels, you can't make change for a quarter. Introduce new half dollar and dollar coins. The nutters will immediately have an apoplectic fit, and spread scores of conspiracy theories about the change in coinage. Preempt the nutters by putting Saint Reagan on the half, and The Living God Trump, on the dollar coin. Then, not only would the nutters accept the new coins, they will demand them, because of the graven images they worship.

One question: will his scrawl only appear on $1 bills, or on all denominations? I'm sure he wants it on at least the $100 dollar bill.
And apparently it will be in addition to Scott Bessent's signature. I'm sure Trump wants his signature to be first or over Bessent's. I can't find an example of Bessent's sig though. It's not on his Wikipedia page like it is for most politicians it has pages for.
Also unclear to me is if this is only for currency issued in 2026 - the anniversary year - or for all the years that he's in office.

Rumor mill: Recall, Trump the Living God built three casinos in Atlantic City, so they were competing with each-other. Supposedly, the note he was paying for the third one was at 14% interest. A similar theme occurred to me when RFK Jr was nominated. A story mentioned that he was on the warpath against fluoride in muni water systems. A muni cited in the story stopped fluoridating with the predictable result that kids cavities increased bigly in that town.
