Made me curious. So I looked it up. About 4% of illegal migrants work in the agricultural sector. Not as many as I expected. But, yes, some of them will be coming to a small town near you. Probably are already there.

Yes, they are here. We have huge dairy farms in my area, having in the neighborhood of 4,000 milking cows more or less. Big operations regulated with standards of high quality. Not sure how this works but for every certain amount of cows there must also have acreage to grow crops to feed the animals. Farm land acreage is scooped up sometimes with bidding wars. The farm houses usually are not torn down but use to house the 'green card' legally here for work.
Most all are family groups with children, not the single young adults sleeping on the sidewalks of big cities for handouts.

As I said before we take care of our own. The legal immigrants are a part of the community, also working at becoming Americans, learning the English language, sending their children to our schools and are proud to repeat the Pledge Allegiance at town hall meetings and school events. We have food pantries, Salvation Army and more if needed.

This is the way Aliens should be welcome into America, not the Biden way of thousands and thousands entering America every week with no plans to take care of them.

Wisconsin is famous for a dairy industry that is almost entirely composed of undocumented laborers.

Now, as then, our country is heavily dependent on undocumented Mexican and Latin American workers, even as politicians have insulted them, attacked them and enacted policies ' including taking away their driver's licenses ' that make their lives even harder.

Now, as then, whole industries, especially the Wisconsin dairy industry, would collapse without the labor of undocumented immigrants, who perform an estimated 80% of the work on Wisconsin dairy farms.

As for Biden, blame Congress. Both sides of the aisle. Congress are the ones whom have to pass legislation for Biden to sign (or veto, as the case may be). There hasn't been a piece of serious immigration legislation in a decade or more. The last time it was proposed, it never went anywhere because one side didn't want to give the other side a "win". So they'd rather sit on their hands, which is what they did.

Do you really think a new piece of legislation could make it onto the floor in either house of Congress today? Because that is what it will take. No POTUS can be really effective on this issue without it.

It is not the norm in my area where they are housed, schooled, attend church and take part in community affairs.

Despite your inaccurate characterization, yes...I think he would sign comprehensive immigration reform that could get through both houses of Congress. He's been asking for such a bill almost since day-one.
