A federal judge ordered construction of President Trump’s White House ballroom halted on Tuesday, saying work must come to a stop “unless and until Congress blesses this project.”

So, if this ruling survives appeal - which is iffy due to the SCROTUS* - when the democrats win the House and Senate in November, they will surely NOT bless this project!

SCROTUMS - Supreme Court Republicans Of The Maybe United States

Good one! Piling on the word play:

SCROTUMS - Supreme Court Republicans Of The MAGA United States

(Also, "scrotums" could be a term of endearment, like "snookums" or similar. Or, combining both meanings - DJT: "I love my loyal SCROTUMS!" 😉)

Also, I was stoked for the new edit feature, but suspected something might be amiss when I saw that the edit button was clickable even on posts I didn't author.

Then the joke hit hard. No fair Manlobbi!

Good.

America is about rushing, cold food, and shit served in a hurry to dysfunctional people.

Elegance - pageantry - sorry, but our country is not 40% trailer park and ghetto.

It would be more fitting to stick a tattoo parlor there, or a gift shop that sells hoodies and pregnancy kits.

I was suckered last year by his April Fool post.

Never again! He’s gonna have to get more clever- not in the content of his posted comment, but in where and how he posts it.

Ok……… ok……. I was fooled until I had read the first few sentences. Then he went completely over the top with his comments about changing other people’s intended meaning.

At that point I knew he was doing a Dope imitation. Dope routinely accomplishes the same thing by quoting other people’s posts after running them through his Ultra Secret Meaning Mangling Machine. (USMMM)

Almost had me there, Manlobbi!

I was suckered last year by his April Fool post.

Compaq Computer in Australia had a dandy one, in the late 90s" the "Dynamouse". Identifying a problem with laptop batteries running low at inopportune times, Compaq developed a mouse with a generator inside. The user's mousing activity would run the generator, to recharge the laptop's batteries. If normal mousing activity was not sufficient to maintain adequate battery charge, the mouse came with a car race game, so that the user could use the game to increase mouse usage, to generate more power to recharge the battery.

Yes the mAGA hood---combined with the Democrat hood-hood of a half century now.

Either way - both drain your country of resources -- good for both. Haha

The same way a "JC", like McNerney, hollowed out Boeing, to enrich himself.

Can't say the same for Sheeple, watching 1st world.....go to 2nd world and beyond.

BAAAAAAAAAAAAA

PS: And I'm sure the Boeing guy was on food stamps and decided to hollow out Boeing. (He was an idiot--- regardless) Was he flipping burgers before he did that? Was he a loser over-paid American IT worker who rightfully got his ass displaced by a n immigrant tech worker? LOL

McNerney was one of the troika of GE execs that learned their craft at the knee of Jack Welch. When Welch retired, Immelt took over the job of running GE into the ground. McNerney went to work on looting Boeing. Nardelli moved to Home Depot, where he was named "worst CEO in the world", then he went to Chrysler and ran it into bankruptcy.

Speaking of Jack Welch....
Under Jack Welch reign GE stock split something like three times. When Welch retired he gifted GE stockholders with a 2 for one stock split. The money ways falling out of the sky.
I know, I was there cashing in $$$$$$$.

When the stock took a dive under Immelt I held onto to the rest of my stock while others sold off in panic. The thought in mind GE stock was good to me before and it time it will do it again. Yep, $281
per share, I have lots of GE stock yet and not to mention the stock spinoffs to other divisions.

Patience grasshopper.

When the stock took a dive under Immelt

McNerney timed his retirement well too. He retired as CEO on July 1, 2015, and retired as Chairman on March 1, 2016.

Lion Air Flight JT610 crashed on October 29, 2018. The second 73 Max crash was on March 10, 2019. Those crashes exposed the culture of shoddy engineering and sloppy construction that McNerney had created. Meanwhile, he had spent all the company's capital buying back stock, leaving the company with Billions of negative equity. Boeing has been behind the 8 ball ever since, and the stock is still well below it's 2018-19 highs. I sold in 2017, when I noticed that McNerney had, effectively liquidated the company, to line his pockets. so I missed the collapse.

I sold in 2017

I hope you did well and walked away with a smile on your face.

I’m working with my ‘money guy’ how to gift the stock to my sons.
Will have to do it probably in a period of two/three years
to minimize the tax hit.
Lot of tax strings attached so need to ‘walk carefully’.

Mixed feelings, really. I was glad to get out of Boeing, with a nice gain, before the collapse. But I was mad that McNerney had nearly destroyed one of US industry's crown jewels, to enrich himself.

Boeing can't do anything right anymore. They moved HQ to DC, to suck up to DoD. Management said they didn't care about commercial market share, of which they had squandered about half of what they had 20 years ago. Commercial airlines expect contracts to be fulfilled, on time and on budget. Try yerking airlines around with excuses and delays, and the airlines start backcharging. DoD's tolerance of sloth seems to be nearly infinite. I agree with Trump on the Air Force 1 contract. Years of putzing around, delays, cost overruns, and Boeing hasn't delivered the new planes yet. I cheered when Trump changed that contract to fixed price, rather than cost plus. Boeing has been crying ever since about how they are losing their shirt. Cry me a river! Where are the damn planes they promised to deliver, years ago?

I'm 72. I plan on living to 100. I wonder if Boeing will deliver service-ready F47s in my lifetime.
