That's right, the actor Terrence Howard (of "Crash" and "Hustle and Flow" fame) thinks he has a groundbreaking new theory of everything.

It's elaborated on here - https://tcotlc.com, where there is also a 162 page PDF with lots of impressive looking "math" and "physics" "principles" "explained". I put all those words in quotes because it's all just bunk, as explained by real physicist Sabine Hossenfelder, but somehow I still find it to be an amusingly impressive effort nonetheless.

I have a brother-in-law who spent the better part of his life, at least 20 years, “decoding” the Bible using page after page of equations, translations, and masturbations to predict that the end of the world was foretold and would happen somewhere around 2014. You have to see it to believe it, it’s as though Zodiac meets Bletchley Park, with a side helping of Egyptian hieroglyphs.

His dutiful, if not too bright wife, typed up his rantings into neat piles of papers, hundreds of them, all carefully collated and stacked, ready for the brilliance to be discovered by a major publisher, which of course it never was.

Estrangement ensued in our family as Mrs. Goofy, then a television producer of a local talk show program, was “commanded” (and that is not too strong a word) to put the idiot on TV so he could explain it all. She declined for obvious reasons, mostly because there was no “there” there, compounded by the guy’s inability to form complete sentences or look anyone in the eye, not exactly the formula for commanding television.

Anyway, things have never been the same, family-wise. He’s still an idiot, the wife is still not so bright (even if the oldest), and we go on with our lives as though it doesn’t matter because, of course, it doesn’t.

The Bible. Lousy predictor of the past. Even worse predictor of the future.

See "The Bible Code" book and sequel! There is also the theory that there is meaning to be found in the white space between the 304,805 Hebrew letters in the Torah (first 5 books of Moses). See

I have a brother-in-law who...

I have a cousin who was a very successful LA DODGER 1st baseman (Sandy Koufax, Walt Alston era). Was was entranced by a white haired/crazy hatted pentecostal televangelist, Dr. Gene Scott, and became a true believer.

I don't believe Wes ever really understood what Scott was doing on his nightly broadcasts, filling a large blackboard with equations and diagrams in various biblical languages, but he made numerous appearances on the show and stood there gleefully agreeing with Dr. Scott. Scott also made lots of fantastic predictions based on his unique interpretations of the holy book.

Wes never tried to foist the Scott schtick on any of the family, and for that I am very grateful.

Wes remains the 7x gold glover and one of only 4 Dodgers to hit for the cycle since the team moved from the Bronx to LA. It'll be cool if Shohei Ohtani also hits for the cycle in Dodger blue and joins the list.
