Mike Johnson is likely to be remembered for single-handedly creating a Pedophile Protection Program (currently in its 37th day of operation), for being a fawning mouthpiece for Donald Trump, for willfully creating the longest-ever government shutdown, for gleefully passing the most savage piece of legislation for middle-income and poor Americans ever, and for his breach of the public trust in his institution by refusing to timely swear in an elected representative.
John Oliver's priceless description of Mike Johnson as "House Speaker and Keebler Elf middle-management" captures his haplessness, but not his creepiness, nor his cruelty, nor his ease with bare-faced lying.

Trump’s response to Pelosi’s retirement:

* Actually, she did not fail. She successfully impeached Trump twice. It was the Senate Republicans who refused to live up to the oath they swore with their hands on the Bible:
