...the previously classified parts of the Durham report are out. They're interesting.

They contain these gems:

https://www.grassley.senate.gov/imo/media/doc/decl...

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/soros-alleged-tie...

The credible foreign sources indicating the FBI and the Obama administration would play a role in spreading the salacious Trump–Russia narrative — before the bureau ever launched its probe — were allegedly tied to George Soros' Open Society Foundation, according to an explosive document declassified Thursday morning.

...but this isn't the juicy part.

This is:
"During the first stage of the campaign, due to lack of direct evidence, it was decided to disseminate the necessary information through the FBI-affiliated…technical structures… in particular, the Crowdstrike and ThreatConnect companies, from where the information would then be disseminated through leading U.S. publications," Bernardo reportedly wrote in an email, per the appendix.

That's the information-laundering part of the exercise. The FBI's job was to provide the veneer of legitimacy.

But who approved it?
HRC (Hillary Rodham Clinton) approved Julie’s idea about Trump and Russian hackers hampering U.S. elections."

And why would Herself do that?
"This should distract people from her own missing email, especially if the affair goes to the Olympic level," Bernardo continued, per the annex. "The point is making the Russian play a U.S. domestic issue. Say something like a critical infrastructure threat for the election to feel manic since both POTUS and VPOTUS have acknowledge the fact IC would speed up searching for evidence that is regrettably still unavailable."

Yup.

Grassley's statement:
"Based on the Durham annex, the Obama FBI failed to adequately review and investigate intelligence reports showing the Clinton campaign may have been ginning up the fake Trump-Russia narrative for Clinton’s political gain, which was ultimately done through the Steele Dossier and other means," Grassley said in a statement. "These intelligence reports and related records, whether true or false, were buried for years."

Grassley said that "history will show that the Obama and Biden administration’s law enforcement and intelligence agencies were weaponized against President Trump."

"This political weaponization has caused critical damage to our institutions and is one of the biggest political scandals and cover-ups in American history," Grassley said. "The new Trump administration has a tremendous responsibility to the American people to fix the damage done and do so with maximum speed and transparency."

And the analyst that refused to sign off on the bogus intel?

https://thefederalist.com/2025/07/30/exclusive-cla...

A crony of then-Director of National Intelligence (DNI) James Clapper threatened to withhold a promotion from a senior intelligence official unless he concurred in the fake Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) on Russia’s meddling in the 2016 election, notes obtained exclusively by The Federalist show.

And more:

According to a person familiar with the notes, the analyst documented his recollection of the conversation on March 31, 2023 — more than six years after the conversation occurred. The delay, The Federalist’s source explained, occurred because the analyst’s efforts to share his concerns, first with the Inspector General of the Intelligence Community (IC), and then later with Special Counsel John Durham and Virginia Sen. Mark Warner, proved unsuccessful. Only later did the analyst receive an inquiry for more information about his claims, leading to the drafting of the summary of his recollections.

Those notes capture the analyst claiming in early January that his supervisor told him, “There is reporting you are not allowed to see,” adding that “if you saw it, you would agree” with the ICA. After noting he concurred “with varying confidence with most of the 2017 ICA’s Key Judgements,” the analyst explained that he “would need to review any reporting myself in order to consider it.”

“You need to TRUST ME on this,” Clapper’s crony countered, stating to the analyst he “would need to demonstrate [his] ability to ‘outgrow’” his refusal to sign off on assessments he did not share, in order to be recommended for a promotion. The analyst remained firm, according to the notes, which led his exasperated superior to reply, “I need you to say you agree with these judgements, so that DIA will go along with them!”

Pressuring analysts to sign off on bogus intel. That'll play well.

Grassley and Fox News?

I linked the source document, something board libs never do and certainly never read.

I provided quotes. Something board libs never do and never read.

As for being played, all of you went out and brayed RussiaRussiaRyssia like you were supposed to, accepting the lies unquestioningly as you were supposed to.

Meanwhile, the facts are coming out and they paint the opposite picture of what the left said over the years.

You can stick your fingers up your nose, in your ears or up your butt all the way to your elbow if you want but the left doesn’t have the ability to suppress the truth any longer.

Many, many more. I got tired of cutting and pasting.

Your assumptions, much like these fake “investigations,” are just make believe.

The Hill is a news outlet. You can't tell the difference between an article written by the media and actual source docs, can you?

Sad.

And here's what one of them had to say:
From 2015 to 2020, I served as a Deputy National Intelligence Officer (DNIO) at the National Intelligence Council (NIC). For the first four years, I served as DNIO-Cyber and IC Lead for East Asian Cyber Issues. A secondary area of my focus was Cyber-enabled information operations, assigned to me by the first National Intelligence Officer (NIO) for Cyber. This role was based on my having prior experience in the subject and (redacted).

I led the production of the Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) on Cyber threats to the 2016 Presidential Election - ICA-2016-37. This ICA (2016 ICA) was specifically tasked by then-Director of National Intelligence (DNI) James Clapper during a secure video-conference call conducted with the NIO Cyber-(redacted) - myself, and others. On the call, the DNI states that then-President of the United States (POTUS) Obama had urgently requested a comprehensive analysis on election security, and the DNI accepted (redacted) proposal to deliver the analysis via the ICA format. I completed and delivered the 2016 ICA prior to the November 2016 polls, and was commended for these efforts in my annual performance review by (redacted) and then Vice-Chair (VC) of the NIC, (redacted).

and
(Redacted) further reiterated (redacted) ongoing invocation that I abandon my tradecraft standards. (Redacted) had told me on prior occasions that (redacted) viewed my analysis culture and tradecraft as a pseudo-religion (redacted) did not share, and had stated I would need to demonstrate my ability to "outgrow" it in order for (redacted) to recommend my promotion to a Senior Executive Service (SES) position.

That's a threat to a whistleblower. Definitely no-no.

The FBI investigated intelligence reports alleging that 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton approved a plan for her campaign to vilify opponent Donald Trump by tying him to Russian President Vladimir Putin, but it was ultimately unable to verify that such a plot existed, according to a document the Trump administration declassified and released on Thursday.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/2...

It's a nothing burger, for you to consume.

...Multiple independent investigations, include a bipartisan Senate Intelligence Committee report and the probe by special counsel Robert S. Mueller III, concluded that Russia engaged in a sweeping campaign to interfere in the 2016 election with the aim of disrupting U.S. democracy and helping its preferred candidate, Trump...

Look at this -

...The origins of the intelligence reports on Clinton and Russia are somewhat obscured in the document, which remains partially redacted. But they appear to be derived in part from Russian spy agencies’ hacking of private U.S. think tanks which were in touch with the Clinton campaign and federal agencies.

The New York Times reported in 2023 that the memos Russia obtained through hacks and the accompanying analysis by Moscow were in turn retrieved by a Dutch spy service which infiltrated Russian computer servers and provided the material to the CIA.

The material obtained by the FBI includes summaries of hacked emails allegedly sent by Leonard Benardo, an official at the Open Society Foundations, an organization founded by George Soros...

So Dutch spies infiltrated Russian computers and provided allegedly hacked emails with Russian analysis. The whole idea that Clinton tried to smear Trump with Russia is of Russian origin? Interesting.

Wow, that's not what came out.
The Obama admin's IC wanted to push a narrative that Putin was helping Trump...but no evidence existed for that.

So they went and grabbed the Steele Dossier!

Fail, WaPoo.

Lol. No. The source comes from emails from the democrats themselves. The Russians just had copies of them.

Nice try. The story isn't going away.

Nope. The Steel Dossier sat on desks of pollies, but copies were passed around. Some of the items in it were possible violations and so it made it's way into intelligence hands (McCain gave one to them)- and most of it was not looked on well by intelligence, but a few things they were curious about. No one bought the golden showers part, and it was deliberately not made clear what intelligence was curious about. In the end there were some 220 (?IIRC) contacts with the Russians by the Trump campaign so there was a there, but the influence was deemed minimal.

You should be able to smell this, if not your smeller is off. Too fix your smeller, a good knock up side the head is warranted, one that makes you fall down. Some people can fix it themselves without all that, like the lawn guy.

I feel sorry for you. The smell that you're referring to has to do with the relative proximity of your nose to the horse excrement that left wingers bathe their minds on the daily. You people can't tell reality from a pop tart any longer.

On the Steele Dossier, the people on this board are literally the only ones in existence who still believe in it. Here, let me quote your intelligence idols for you:

https://archive.md/FKMnq
First, the so-called Steele Dossier, a series of memos, now largely discredited, about purported Trump-Russia links written by a former British intelligence agent. Ms. Gabbard and Mr. Ratcliffe have claimed it played an integral role in formulating the assessment. We have testified under oath, and the reviews of the assessment have confirmed, that the dossier was not used as a source or taken into account for any of its analysis or conclusions.

(Thanks, guys, for admitting to the perjury you committed. That'll come in handy during opening arguments at your respective trials).

Nope. All left wingers who propagated the RussiaRussiaRussia nonsense are either dupes or liars due to the sheer amount of lies they peddled. The ringleaders of this deserve jail or whatever karma they've got coming to them - that's everyone in Obama's IC, by the way.

Hiding evidence? Trying to destroy evidence? Engaging in a conspiracy designed to undermine a sitting President and remove him from power? That's called Sedition.

As far as the knocking upside the head part: Potes conatum facere sed non frueris eventu.
