The earnings call is well worth reading/ listening to. Very unusually, a couple of private investors asked questions. Also the professional analysts questions were of a higher quality than the usual ones you hear for most companies.
They responded to 2 questions on share repurchases and sounded bullish and continued repurchases at current valuations.
We have many options, right, that with excess capital, with excess dividends coming up. And all I really can say at these prices today, we continue to buy back our stock. We did a significant amount last year.
There was also a question of runoffs - mostly asbestos related claims they inherited from the 1990s - 2000s.
The earnings release seems to have caused little reaction from the market - a yawn.
