"If Senator McConnell is truly serious about this, perhaps he should stop supporting for president an “America-first” isolationist who openly admires dictators and threatens to abolish our security alliances. And instead support the candidate committed to strengthening our economic and security alliances with our allies, and containing the influence of authoritarian regimes.
Otherwise his words ring completely hollow."
