Inside a $7 billion Silicon Valley startup’s mad dash to automate the business of health care
As Commure pays happy customers to drive sales, some clinics say its AI tools just didn’t work for them
For anyone who has ever been on the wrong end of arguing with an automated system (think: your pharmacy answering tree, Comcast repair, etc) this is hilarious.
I can imagine the human beings at the insurance companies trying to undo what this agentic monstrosity does while entangling/detangling the various (already over-complicated) paperwork that flows between doctors’ offices and the insurance gods.
The only answer will be to provide the insurance giants with their own sector specific AI agents which can argue with Commure’s silicon servers, all churning and burning electricity in the quest to deny, and or get paid, for health care services.
Invest in power companies, generator companies, and perhaps the natural gas industry, all of whom will profit from this “improvement.”
