To the American high schools,

clearly your sports coaches understand the importance of constant practice. Why shy away from it in academic subjects then?
There is no point introducing kids to a concept, solving a few examples, having them solve one or two, and moving on. Their brain muscles need repetitive movements too!
Psst, that's the secret to Asians' success. We are not any more intelligent. We just drill till it's second nature.
No it won't stifle creativity and free spirit. Completely orthogonal, believe me.
I think I just figured out why California / US spends so much per student yet other poorer countries can beat it in academics.

Reminds me of a million dollar study back in 90s which concluded that the main reason the French are healthier than Americans despite eating richer foods is ... drumroll please ... they just eat less.
The Duh pile just keeps getting bigger.
