spcx is now about 1 percent of the QQQ, so it's not that material. However, the QQQ should never be forgiven for changing its regs to expedite inclusion prior to 6 months from the effective date, imo.Guess where else SPCX is more than 1% of the fund and also its #1 holding?
It's any fund/ETF that tracks the Extended Market Index, also called the S&P Completion Index. This is the Total Market Index minus all the S&P500 stocks.
S&P500 has not yet added SPCX, but in the process screwed the Extended Market Index, because by definition Extended Market now has no choice but add SPCX! SPCX market cap is about 14-15 times more than the #2 constituent of this index Snowflake Inc.!
