According to the article, the Texas Rangers are still investigating the incident.
As we know, following the Good killing, DHS decreed it alone would investigate, and refused to share any evidence with Minnesota authorities. Judge for yourself how that attitude might impact DHS' interactions with the Texas Rangers.
