I share some of the reservations about Howie expressed in the thread. But we just have to trust Warren on this & hope that he doesn't have a blind spot. Hopefully Howard can step up to the plate & take care of business if/when the time comes.
I was hoping for a long while (until the Epstein scandal) that Bill Gates, Warren's adopted son would become Chairman. Oh well, too bad! Add Bill to the list of disappointments.
I also a little puzzled with the choice of Sue Decker as the lead independent director given that she owns almost nothing in Berkshire shares. For such an amazing shareholder oriented company, I find it a little odd.
