If the Dems are successful at taking Trump out, Haley, Youngkin , Scott, even DeSantis , etc, would destroy Biden-Harris. Educated democrats understand this reality, which doesn't make you a trumper.

First, the "democrats" aren't interested in "taking Trump out". Fair-thinking Americans believe Trump deserves to be convicted for his crimes and/or should not be eligible for public office (the documents indictment alone should put him behind bars). Or do you believe Trump is an innocent man?

Second, if Trump is not the republican nominee for any reason at all, Trump will destroy Haley, Youngkin, Scott, and DeSantis. Trump will burn the republican party to the ground before he lets anyone else but him run in his place.

Bank on it.

With all due respect, you just can't reason. If trump can't run he wouldn't expect a pardon from a Republican pres? This is not complicated, you are off the rails , incapable of basic logic. Frank Lutz interview this morning, don't even watch it, just bash him too. Pollster Frank Luntz on 2024 polls: It is not Republican strength, it's Democratic weakness.

My reasoning is sound. Trump is like Bobby Axelrod in "Billions," a malignant narcissist. Taylor Mason observed that there were two things Axe would never do: he would never admit he was wrong and he would never apologize.

A pardon would require that Trump admit his guilt. He will never do so. Never.

''A pardon would require that Trump admit his guilt. He will never do so. Never.'' What? Are you saying all the cases against trump are frivolous and without merit, hence he will never be found guilty of anything? We agree, if he is never found guilty of anything, he will not need a pardon. We found common ground, commonone 🍿💕

Is that your takeaway from me writing "the documents indictment alone should put him behind bars"? That case is a slam dunk, which is why Cannon is slow-rolling it for Trump. Now I believe it's my turn to write that "with all due respect, you just can't reason."

You're not making sense or you're trolling me. Either way, we're done here.

Perhaps I can help Hc.

CO: Second, if Trump is not the republican nominee for any reason at all, Trump will destroy Haley, Youngkin, Scott, and DeSantis. Trump will burn the republican party to the ground before he lets anyone else but him run in his place.

I read this is if it approaches looking like Trump won't be the nominee, Trump will destroy anyone who approaches being a frontrunner, and burn the Republican party if that happens. He seems to have control of the purse strings ( one way), he can tell Magats to not vote ( another way), etc., etc. The message is, Trump will deliberately, or inadvertently, destroy the Republican party's ability to win.

Remember, Trump is not a creator, he is a destroyer.

Former Rep. Tim Ryan just came out and called on Biden to not run again.

The rumblings are getting louder.

Perhaps. But, barring severe health problems (including death), he will be the Dem nominee next year. That is a given. It's a little late for other Dems to be forming "exploratory committees" (and other pre-campaign BS). The Reps are already having primary debates. If Biden doesn't run, it's a lot scarier for the Dems. Would it be Harris (likely, IMHO)? Bernie again (unlikely, IMHO)? It would be a lesser-known person without the advantage of incumbency. Though if Trump wins** the nomination (likely, IMHO), there are still enough people that would be horrified and show up to vote for anyone running against him. That's how Biden won last time, frankly.

** (note: he's also really old, so if Biden is too old then so is Trump)
