Let's see. Social Security benefits and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) payments increased by 8.7% beginning January 1, 2023. Inflation is running 4.98%.

LOL, commonone thinks the 8.7% social security raise will cover the cost of Bidenflation, utilities, food, gas and so on.

BTW, the inflation rate in Canada is 4.3%, 5.2% in the Netherlands, 5.66 in India, 7% in Australia, 7.2% in Germany, and 10.1% in the UK.
