I learned from the left that it's A-okay to launder money in various way. Say, you have your crackhead Presidential son fling some paint on a canvas, call it "art" and then have your donors pay a few hundred thousand each for them. Nothing wrong with that!


Trading on a father’s name is unseemly, but does seem to be standard practice in Washington. I wouldn’t mind if this avenue of enrichment was tightened up. The problem, of course, is that family members of politicians cannot be prevented from making a living.

In Hunter’s case, that problem was compounded by the fact that there are no standards for answering the question: “What constitutes art?” and further “what is a piece of art worth?”

I’ve heard you make the argument Dope, on a number of occasions: “An object is worth whatever a buyer is willing to pay for it.”

Contrast that with what Don Jr. is getting ready to do- trade on insider information he has no business knowing
