waltz is sensing he is most likely to be scapegoated.
both hegseth and gabbard followed the now line-by-line predictable trump script in denying :
- any recall of events
- any wrongdoing
- any accountability via blameshifting
(somehow lies in each prior phase seems ignored)

what this does is buy time until the next pending incident, which is just days away. MAGA , per trump's incisive and ever popular 'witch-hunt' analytics, have already put houthigate behind them.

assigning probabilities of what doesnt get made public in the pete\tulsi\kash circus, no crime is too large.
