Ok so I will always follow Mister 3-Wives Trump. Got it.

Part of that means - blasting someone after their throat was cut by their own son.

And before that, trying to make health insurance pricier.

And before that, playing 'chicken' with lower income people's food to the point where parents might have had to tell their kids - we might not have food next week.

Vs - naively, but nevertheless trying to give people a break on bus fare and child care and groceries.

I'm not saying I believe the latter would work.

But it seems Mamdani's Walk with Jesus Christ is better than Trumps.

Seems my side only talks about their Walk with Christ when its to explain away a gay affair, or at least on a good day, a hetero one.

++++++

Matthew 7:15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thorns or figs from thistles? 17 In the same way, every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus you will know them by their fruits.

21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 Then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; go away from me, you who behave lawlessly.’

24 “Everyone, then, who hears these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on rock.

Seems my side only talks

You have a *side* now? Weren't you claiming that you don't have a side and are detached and neutral? :)

So marco could use this to say that Rob Reiner was a bad tree? :)

I've come to accept that parents can be good parents, make the normal amount of parental mistakes, but are good parents, and the kid can go bad by no fault of their own.

This isn't directed to you Lambo. I am adding it to this thread at the end. I posted this short note on a book over on the Book Reviews board but it seems like a good fit in this thread.

Separation of Church and Hate: A Sane Person's Guide to Taking Back the Bible from Fundamentalists, Fascists, and Flock-Fleecing Frauds written and read by John Fugelsang is a look at the differences between what Jesus taught and what many Christians, especially Christian-Nationalist believe. It is eye-opening. Fugelsang uses scriptures, historical documents, and modern theological scholarship to stake his claim on the faith he grew up in. As a comic, you might expect him to use humor and you would not be wrong. It is very funny in both his use of pointed and self-deprecating varieties of humor. I grew up in a Christian home and became an athiest. I learned a lot in this book, both good and bad, about Christianity that I was never taught in Sunday School, Church or in any history class. I will be rereading this book. It didn't cause me to question my lack of faith in an almighty being/spirt but it did give me an appreciation for the character or person a religion is mostly loosely based on.

This is a good book to spend some time with over the holidays or maybe even give as a gift.

I voted Biden.

I voted Trump.

I love the tariffs.

I love Biden's Chips Act.

I love Biden's infrastructure law.

I've written Pro ObamaCare since TMF.

I am pro choice.

So that's just a few reasons - unlike you people - why I am not beholden to a side.

Did I say 'my side'. ? Yes.

Because I don't try to play word games. Most people who have known be from TMF would say I lean Right.

And I do.

And I own it - even when not pleasant.

Unlike Gutless Sheeple who couldn't even give an opinion on Mamdani before the election.

Geez. No wonder you people push each other into partisan corners.

Well, from Sydney to Brown---- you do you.
