I suspect she did her future career a favor by exiting this dumpster fire of an administration before some inevitable intelligence failure ends up killing people, and perhaps even before being forever sullied by Trump's stink, though it may already be too late.

It’s too late. She recklessly allowed a lot of cohorts in the intel community to be steamrolled out of their work (lawsuits abound, all rooted in bigotry) and wasn’t even vaguely competent in the job.

plus, no true MAGA voluntarily leaves for family issues as long as grift is possible.
