He's confusing people regularly. Even his ex-wife vs his rape victim.
I'm quite certain he is a racist based on past behavior (e.g. housing discrimination). But this is probably more a sign of dementia. If he can't even keep straight Ivana and Carroll, you can't really expect him to keep straight two black politicians whom he didn't spend a lot of time with.

This is just a continuation of the Republicans’ “Brown” problem.
In this case it’s Willie Brown instead of some councilman who happens to be brown, but that should hardly be a surprise. Going back to Nixon, there was “the Southern Strategy”, based on the antipathy to LBJ’s pushing through the Civil Rights Act.
Let’s review: Ronald Reagan talked endlessly about “Welfare Queens”, and we all know what that means. The very next one, George HW Bush famously ran the Willie Horton ad against his “wildly liberal” opponent and won. The younger Bush, abetted by Dick Cheney sent the world to war against Arabs in search of non-existent WMD, and with Trump it’s brown people swarming across the border to take your jobs . Well, at least that’s a bit tamer than “to rape your girlfriend.”
I suppose we should expect nothing less from the guy who was taken to court and adjudged guilty of discrimination in housing from refusing to rent to people of color, and if his constant harping on ‘Barack HUSSEIN Obama’ and the mysterious birther controversy wasn’t enough, we have a repeat episode, writ small, in Brown vs brown.
Oh, Republicans, when will you give it up. The young folk live side by side with them, and with gays and all sorts of non-traditional types as well. No wonder you’re losing at the low end of the age groups.
I can’t wait until they grow up, and Crazy Uncles mostly disappear from the Thanksgiving tables of America. You too, DonOld.
