That's even a MORE trivial issue to be obsessed about than actually RENAMING them.

Even your revised objection misses the mark.

1. The issues are (and remain)
Donald Trump’s trivial obsession with obliterating the celebration of holidays commemorating the struggle of African Americans for civil rights, and

2. His equally trivial and dangerous attempts to put his name on every aspect of our civic life. In this case, offering free access to National Parks on his birthday, while simultaneously removing that free access for Juneteenth and MLK’s birthday.

However, the cult of Dear Leader sees nothing wrong with it.
