Was scanning an article saying the Harris Layoffs aren't finished yet.

Also says that the 4 day workweek and remote crap for lazy 401K'ers might not be as normalized as thought.

Why are these "Harris Layoffs"? Just because they're occurring at a time when she's the Vice President? Have you ever referred to an event at any previous time as the "Name of VP" "Event" before?

Some feel an African-American woman who is Vice President isn't' responsible for anything. The Layoffs. The delinquencies. The stretched lower end consumer.

OR even the border that she was put in charge of.

Nevermind that -in general- there are far more impactful factors to the economy than whom the POTUS and VP are. That's way beyond the thinking that they do. So the POTUS always gets the blame (or credit). Does the VP have any effect on the economy? Not really. Doesn't matter, because FAUX Noise (and similar outlets) have told them what to think.

Being politically aware is a lot of work. A lot of people are lazy. Me included (I just love sitting around doing nothing...puttering, TV, etc). But I force myself to go to work (before I retired), yard work, reading up on current events, and learning how the system works to put those events into context (e.g. the lesson you gave us on asylum last winter).

I'd rather be watching The Recruit (I think it's a really good show, and season 2 is a few months away).

We've really seen who's who on the board in the last month. Some of them who were pretending to be nice just flat-out cracked under the realization that they've been lying to themselves for years about Biden's mental fitness. The dentist managed to save it later that day.

Nancy Pelosi has a good comment in her book about how she had met with Trump numerous times and each time she left the meeting she thought that either Trump was a moron or that Trump thought she was a moron.

Basically, he would say things that were so obviously stupid that either he was dumb enough to believe what he said, or he thought she was dumb enough to be fooled by them.

Almost all of Dope's arguments are similar to that. You can say something like "The government shouldn't favor a religion", and he will say "You mean people can't proclaim their religious beliefs in public?". What I remember so well, was when Dope came out and proclaimed "they" were taking away Trump's best issue (when the border bill was killed.) If there was a sniffle or a whimper with it, it would have been perfect. That's the feeling you got.

When Trump was convicted of 34 counts and Dope came out with, "Do you think we're going to take that?" I was waiting because the time was ripe for Dope to talk (predict) rebellion, Civil War, or at least protests with scattered violence, potential flooding, and a burning or two. As for Israel, I fall into the people who believe the Israeli's claim to be indigenous isn't manufactured, that it's real, and that attempts to squeeze them into "colonizers" have to ignore the true history, and that's convenient. We may not like what Hamas has handed us but Iran is going to have to change if we want a reasonably peaceful Middle East. And how does that happen? Beats the hell out of me. I think Iran can hold out 100 years being the same way, there's no incentive to change.
