https://www.reuters.com/world/us/trumps-signature-...

U.S. paper currency will bear President Donald Trump's signature to mark the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence, the Treasury Department said on Thursday, a first for a sitting president, while ‌deleting the Treasurer of the United States' signature from U.S. money for the first time in 165 years.
The Treasury said in a statement to Reuters that the first $100 bills with Trump's signature and that of U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent will be printed in June, followed by other bills in subsequent months.

The Treasury's Bureau of Engraving and Printing is currently still producing notes bearing the signatures of former President Joe Biden's Treasury secretary, Janet Yellen, and Treasurer Lynn Malerba.
Malerba will be the last of an unbroken line of Treasurers whose signatures had appeared on U.S. federal currency since 1861, when it was first issued by the U.S. government.

Since these are "Federal Reserve Notes", I wonder if they have a say in the matter?

If the SOB is going to put his name on them, they should draw the reserves from the billions he's gotten paid or insider-traded to - Mideast hotels, a bitcoin, Truth Social, Mar-a-Lago fees, the Omani jet gift, prediction trade on Venezuela, prediction trade on war announcement a week ago, etc etc etc...

I posted a link, and snip from the official Treasury Dept announcement of this, on the Policy board. I dare not comment on it here.

What is even more bizarre is that Trump will have a coin minted with his image on both sides of the coin. Talk about narcissism and megalomania! Even the Roman emperors didn't do that.

Yup, a coin with his image on both sides — naturally, something that matches his inability to see beyond himself.

Or he just wants to insure all coin tosses go to him. Heads, I win!

I was thinking something more like both sides are tails....

> on both sides of the coin.

Thanks for this Wendy, I laughed out loud.

Perhaps we should invest in any companies that can mint coins with tiny images along the sides too.
