The largest police union in the US, which endorsed Donald Trump during his campaign, said Trump’s decision to pardon more than 1,500 people convicted over the January 6 insurrection “sends a dangerous message”, in a statement on Tuesday.

What the hell did they think was going to happen. Trump was prmising to do exactly what he did for months before the election.

What did they expect? Anyone who has paid any attention over the 7 plus years leading up to the endorsement would know that Trump lies to get what he wants and once he’s got it has absolutely no problem with tossing people aside.
Sorry, cops. You fell for a con man. I have little pity for you. But I do hope you stay on your toes at work. You need a lesson, not physical punishment.
