Organic revenue was up 12% during the quarter vs. +8.8% consensus estimate, led by gains in the Latin America (+23%), EMEA (+25%), North America (+5%), Bottling Investments (+14%), and Global Ventures (+5%) segments. The organic sales growth mark was notably higher than PepsiCo's (PEP) 4.5% mark for a roughly overlapping period. Unit case volume was up 2% for Coca-Cola (KO) during the quarter, while price/mix accounted for nine percentage points of growth. The impact of currency swings was a negative four percentage points to consolidated sales.

Looking ahead, Coca-Cola (KO) sees full-year adjusted organic revenue growth of +6% to +7% vs. +5.9% consensus.
