That is a good point.
If subsequent administrations continue Trump's legacy on immigration....then at least there will be less immigrant labor and Americans will have more open positions.
For some that will be good but in other cases, bad culture maybe wont yield as many qualified people.

Qualified for screwing on lugnuts, and picking crops? The regime's position is schools do nothing but "woke indoctrination", so defund education, and use the money to cover another "JC" tax cut.

There is a hilarious line in "Yes Minister", where Humphrey and Hacker are talking about why different countries joined the EU. When they get to Germany "purge themselves of genocide, and apply for readmission to the human race". You don't see Shinyland being apologetic, for anything, ever. The current regime is removing references to slavery and genocide, because they don't matter, because the US is "exceptional".

The imigrants who were taking tech jobs from whiney american liberal IT folks...had much less money spent on them per pupil.
Seems that the priority for USian "JCs" is what puts the most money in their pocket, today, without a care about the long term viability of the enterprise. We see this play out often, with companies being hollowed out by the sale and closure of divisions, markets exited, and profits spent buying back stock, instead of making the company stronger. Same for the country. If the "knowledge work" is offshored to people who were educated at other country's expense, then US education can be defunded, and the money given to the "JCs". Other countries fund R&D, so US R&D can be defunded, and the money given to the "JCs". So, US Proles get no more than Bantu education,enough to screw on lug nuts, and keep the "JCs" in the style to which they are accustomed, and they are OK with it, because all the brown people have been run out of the country.
That is the good outcome.
