Target is the poster child for the Trump Economy™. When Trump's supporters got upset over gay pride merchandise in Target stores, Target pulled it and those customers didn't come back. When Trump told companies to get rid of DEI policies and programs, Target was among the vanguard to do his bidding. They were and are boycotted by members, and allies of the groups impacted by those DEI practices. Those customers haven't returned either. I heard this morning that 50% of Target's inventory is targeted by the Trump Tariff™. It looks like Target is on its way to becoming the next JCPenny or BB&B because of bad business decisions mixed with hate filled politics.

Well, many of us likely make choices in how we spend, where we shop doe, in my case by anti-labor tactics, Sams/Walmart, Coors, but some in the last few years on how they supported the current admin, Home Depot won't see me, ever again, and I was a steady buyer personally as well as company purchasing before retiring, now a Chick fleet is coming to town, taking over a site that was a great steakhouse, they won't see any of us, ever... Target will pay the price, it's rare I shopped there, sad to see their bowing down...

As noted, BB&B, JCP are gone. Sears, Wards, KMart, unclear why they failed, vacant spaces here...
