My wife has just informed me to go upstairs because I’m in my “No one wants to be around you!” mood (I know, what’s new?). And our guests don’t arrive for 5 more hours.
This means you guys might be the recipients of my crazed outbursts, mega-sarcastic observations, and general histrionics. Have I mentioned OCD?
My deepest apologies in advance.
Insanity is hereditary. You get it from your kids.
Maybe I need a couple of drinks and an Arturo Fuente.

I seldom drink (nowadays), but I have a six pack of Devastator on hand, a delicious double bock beer with 9% alcohol.
If Kamala wins my wife and I will toast the victory by splitting a Devastator. If the orange idiot wins I might need the six pack.

You might want to keep a slow pace on that. It's highly unlikely we'll know the winner today. Most of the swing states weren't called until the day after the election in 2020.
We won't even necessarily have an idea who will win. Remember, because of the way ballots are canvassed in most of the swing states, the early tranche of voters will not be representative of the later tranche of voters. Typically, smaller (and more rural) counties and Election Day ballots get reported more quickly. Larger (and more urban) counties and mail-in/absentee ballots generally get reported later. Since those two groups of voters are unlikely to have the same voting patterns and preferences, the early returns won't necessarily be the same as the later returns.
So if you start drinking now, you might have a very hard couple of days ahead of you!

And if memory serves, it took until Saturday to actually figure out who won.
I would prepare for roughly the same this time. And let's hope is not a repeat of 2000.

If Trump has not clearly won, then prepare for another insurrection.

One benefit of the election denialism is that election systems have been a huge topic of discussion for 4 years.
So, a lot of people who were unfamiliar with the counting process, people who swallowed Trump's lie about late counted votes being fake, now understand that not all votes are tallied by the close of polls.
Unless there is a humongous landslide that is undeniable, it'll take a while and people will understand that Trump's premature victory claims are just so much claptrap from his _______** piehole.
5:45, the sun has settled into a distant fogbank over the sea, and we cannot pour one until 6pm.
My dog is agitated, staring and yammering at us because she gets fed at 6pm. Her stomach told her it was 6pm nearly an hour ago.
**I've run out of adjective's that adequately describe Trump's piehole.
