I'm surprised Buffett went near this crew??

Sun won the charity auction (with a bid of $4.57 million!), it would have been kind of rude (and not very Buffett-like IMO) for Buffett to refuse the dinner.

I seriously doubt Buffett would have accepted high bud from the FTX crew. Perhaps it will come up at the annual? IF, funds are clawed back for the victims , I'm sure Buffett will make good.

That's not the FTX crew, and the bid was accepted almost 4 years ago.

Yes...? I don't know what the point of that is. It's, again, almost four years after Sun won the bid for the dinner, and a day short of two months after the dinner took place. Also, Sun (and the others) haven't been convicted of anything, just charged, and charged in an emerging area of the law that is nowhere near settled.

Cnbc , aka Becky, is reporting that Buffett wouldn't allow Sun to bid at the last auction. Buffett also reserves the right to decline any bid. That didn't take long to resolve.
