In Davos, the Pedophile Protector is now drawing an equivalency between the United States and Nazi Germany.

PEDOPHILE PROTECTOR: "No nation is in any position to be able to secure Greenland other than the US. We're a great power. Much greater than people even understand. I think they found that out 2 weeks ago in Venezuela. We saw this in World War II when Denmark fell to Germany after just 6 hours of fighting."

Comparing American military action to the Nazis is not the flex he thinks it is.

Unfortunately, it may be a foreshadowing. We have, in effect, a totalitarian government now. I don't know if it's reversible. I can hope it is. Rule of Law is mostly going out the window, and without that, any nation is lost. The tension between branches that is supposed to keep everyone in check isn't there anymore. SCOTUS and Congress are not opposing the Executive. Without that tension, there is no check, and no Rule of Law.

there is tension, as states have long pushed back on fed over-reach, and vice-versa.
states also face a 'middle-power' type dilemma as described by mark carney; trump uses divide&conquer tactics.

take texas hypocrites for instance, which i believe would never tolerate incursion of other national guard troops, but happy to export for trump. by the way, if you pull over a non-hispanic for an ID check in texas, you would be harassing a minority. so great odds for ICE !

purple states just have too much inertia.
will need more state substance than sporadic coalitions of state AGs that are dems.
minnesota is the current test case, while most states retain 'gop welcome' signs in the store window.
