1poormom had dementia. I saw it up close. While it is iffy to diagnose a person remotely (plus I'm not a neurologist), I've been saying for years that I thought he had it. Seems to be getting worse, though not as quickly as Mom did. Of course, she didn't have a team of advisors telling her what to say.
