Even if Biden expires come election time, I'd vote for him. Kamala has some issues (IMO), but she's still better than Trump. If she had to take the reins on day-one, that would be better than the alternative (i.e. Trump).

And there is precedent. People whom are dead have been elected (for lower offices, e.g. a state representative). In this case, we have a running mate able to take over.
