Micro-focusing on the speech patterns of a man with a lifelong speech impediment is harmful distraction from the real danger to the US in the upcoming election.
" Pretty sure we all heard 'goodest'.
I've made similar word transpositions all my adult life and do not know why. I believe what was in his head was the following because I do it too:
"I'll feel as long as I gave it my all and I did the job as good as I know I can do, that's what this is about," Biden said.
One time long ago, at band camp, we were talking about the height of a boat's mast relative to the building adjacent to the dock and I said 'it's not four floories high." I was amused at my blending of floors and stories; 'floories'. (The boat had a jammed halyard/sheave and the brilliant owner, not wanting to pay the shipyard for crane time pondered heeling the boat to the building to access the jam.)
We can waste time getting hung up on every little mis-speak or we can focus on beating the Project 25's felon.
