So, that means one of your primary ego defenses is "splitting." You also engage in projection and projective identification.

Splitting is a primitive ego defense due to arrested development in early childhood, normally caused by abuse or a negligent or inadequate parental figure.

You can't see anything in a nuanced way. Everything is either all good or all bad, but you falsely believe you are "all good" because you can't deal with acknowledging your own weaknesses and flaws.

Therefore, you project all the negative and bad emotions onto an externalized bad object, in this case, Trump.

You all get along so well with each other because you all suffer from the same borderline personality organization and primitive ego defenses.

You never challenge other. When someone bothers to take a lot of time to logically and factually challenge you, such as LurkerMom or Dope1 (there may be others, those are two that come to mind though), you NEVER address their arguments on the merits.

I don't bother trying to argue with you guys on the merits because you aren't capable of it.

For you, this message board isn't actually to discuss political issues.

It's to engage in reinforcement of your pre-existing cognitive biases and emotional problems with one another.

Forgive me for not playing your very unhealthy games.

I simply pointed out that naming national parks after black icons who had nothing to do with anything concerning national parks was simply a performative sop to a Dem voting bloc and otherwise completely meaningless.

Therefore, Trump switching the names is also completely meaningless--unless he was trying to deliberately troll you emotionally disturbed folks, which odds are, was exactly what he was aiming at. It worked.

The appropriate response that mentally healthy people have to such trolling is to ignore it.

But you're not mentally healthy, so you are easily baited by the likes of Trump.

I just think the lot of you are silly, immature, and totally lacking in self-awareness.
