You people used McCain.

Then trashed him when he was nominee.

McCain pushed back on GOP love of torturing brown people. He lost.

Romney pushed back on GOP love of invading countries. He lost.

My take is McCain and Romney both committed the crimes of being intelligent, willing to think for themselves, and relatively moderate. The Tea Party/MAGA goober base did not come out for them.

Bush #43, a low grade, alcohol and drug addled moron, loved torture, violation of Constitutional and human rights, war, and his Bible. He was elected twice.

Of course the GOP would embrace Trump. He took everything #43 favored, and turned it up to 11.
