I have a better idea.

Let's arrest the people who are actually committing the violence. Then, as part of their prosecution for their crimes, let's find out what their motivations are and bring the evidence into court.

Let's do this the way police and detectives and prosecutors have done for decades. Start at the bottom of the criminal organization and work your way up to the top.

If all you do is cut off one source of funding but leave the organization in place, they'll just find a different source of funding.
