Because BC would triangulate when he had. But look at who the democrats are now - they can’t possibly adopt any Republican positions: they’ve spent years claiming those things are all Hitlerian.

They’ve got nowhere to go…but down. Hopefully sooner rather than later. America needs a center left party to balance out the GOP. Today’s democrat party should go the way of the dodo. Or the Whigs.
