Subject: Doh!
Topped up the gas tank in the car Saturday, when I heard the bombing had started. $3.13/gallon, on a credit card. The next day, the station dropped the price to $2.99 Doh! On Wednesday evening, I drove to Dearborn for a historical lecture at the museum. There are three stations I pass on that drive that are usually cheaper than the more upscale burb where I live. Sure enough, $2.89/gallon, on a card, a dime cheaper for cash. DOH!

Headed out to exploit a coupon at Wendy's for lunch today. Gas here is $3.69/gallon today. I don't feel so bad about topping up at $2.13 now.

I'm sure big oil is terribly pleased with events. What the Proles think, would only matter if there is a "free and fair" election this fall.
