Subject: Humanist Charity
If anybody is looking for a non-secular tax deductible humanist charity, I got this e-mail from author/cousin/Pitzer College Professor Phil Zuckerman on the occasion of his birthday this week. I'd imagine a few of you atheists have read some of his articles, op/eds, essays and books.

<<"Dear Family and Friends '
Today I turn 54. Hard to believe.
I'm also still Executive Director of Humanist Global Charity (newly named Humanist Mutual Aid Network).
The great thing is that we donate small, targeted amounts of money to manageable projects and have excellent contacts/partners in the field. My birthday wish is that you can donate $5 or $10 to one of the latest projects below. -- Thanks, Phil
Our July goals are:

-2,000 Sanitary Pads delivered to Nepali women & girls in slums
(Kathmandu Mutual Aid)

-Orphan boy and abused wives needs shelter
(ShelterMi Safe House & Orphanage, Uganda)

-Malaria Treatment for 50 Refugee Camp children
(N'djame Mutual Aid, Chad)

-Free Organic Fertilizer Workshop taught to 20 students
(Loctaguna Mutual Aid, Zambia)

-Humanist Community Primary School
(Minna Mutual Aid, Nigeria)

- Millet Garden to support Dalit Students
(Bandepar Dandi Mutual Aid, Uttar Pradesh, India)

-Education support for African humanists

-Kenyan Orphans need $100 each for education
(Humanist Orphan Centre, Kisimu)

-Sanitary Pads delivered to DR Congo villages

-Tilapia Ponds for Mangyan Indigenous people
(Mindoro island, the Philippines)

The drop down menu in the upper right hand corner lets one select the specific cause to which you'd like to donate. https://www.thehuman.team/

Even if you're not inclined to donate, the Humanist Mutual Aid Network's website is fascinating for the scope of work, policies, principles, essays, photos...
