You level of ignorance about what happened and who was being arrested is quite astounding.

It's not just her, I suspect. Anyone feeding on RW media likely has similar ideas. It's all they hear, and they -for whatever reason- trust it. That's the bit that is scary; large segments of the population that think they know what's going on, but they really don't.

Several years ago I recall a study that showed that FOX News viewers were less informed than people who consumed no news at all. (It may have been "cable news"...don't remember now.) IOW, FOX was (and is) lying to them. And now we have other outlets that are far worse than FOX in terms of accuracy.
