Last month, Trump said that the FBI "secretly placed" 274 agents in the crowd ahead of the riot. FBI Director Kash Patel later clarified that, "agents were sent into a crowd control mission after the riot was declared by Metro Police."

FBI Director at that time was Chris Wray, appointed by Trump in 2017. But Trump will probably blame Comey.

Trump is a little hazy on the details, but he's "making America white again", so MAGA is happy.
