Hilarious.

Speaking about "lying to themselves," I'm old enough to remember when presidential candidate Hillary Clinton went to historically black churches and there were black people there... unlike the white faces brought into the Detroit church to cheer on Dementia Don.

Paid Trump campaign liar Kellyanne Conway said there were 8,000 in attendance (she purposely said "people," not "Black people") but photographs of the event clearly show between 100-200 mostly white folks in the "congregation".

Dementia Don told the folks there that he did more for Black people than any president since Abraham Lincoln, despite presidents Ulysses S. Grant securing creation of Department of Justice and empowering the attorney general to prosecute the Ku Klux Klan and racial violence; Harry Truman de-segregating the military via executive order; and LBJ, who signed into law the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965.

One could argue that president Obama should be included for his success in passing the Affordable Care Act, which is one of the greatest anti-poverty measures that this country has ever enacted.

As far as the low unemployment rate for Blacks during the early years of Dementia Don's presidency, president Biden brought those rates down even lower -- the record low for the Black or African American unemployment rate, 4.8%, was set under Biden in April 2023. That beat the Trump-era low that was a record at the time, 5.3% in August 2019 and September 2019 -- and they remain historically low. Besides, if you're going to credit Dementia Don for low Black unemployment in 2019, why should he avoid blame for the rise that followed?

Plus, after appearing at the Black church Dementia Don ran off to appear with supporters who unveiled a “White Boy Summer” flag at Charlie Kirk's Turning Point conference.

Talk about "lying to yourselves."
