I’ll remind you folks of. Biden’s inflation and the devastating effect it’s had on the country.
The Fed keeping interest rates up will help. Increasing domestic energy production will also help. Both will take some time. - Dope

Yep, when a politician campaigns on doing something day one, he is really saying the issue is significant and solving it high priority. It is obvious that many complex problems will require effort, focus and perseverance over time to achieve progress and ultimately a solution. This is especially true, and obvious, if the solution requires negotiations with other countries, or the construction of infrastructure, or congressional funding in whole or in part.
However, the dem opposition become literalists and start proclaiming breathlessly on day two, "See, I told you that in addition to being a racist fascist grifter, he is a big fat liar". They think we can't tell if an issue is solvable in one day one or not and their day two observations are a game changer.
t is true that some campaign promises can happen fast, and even on day one, such as Biden shutting down the Keystone pipeline. However many other initiatives, even most, will take longer. They think we didn't already know that for example solving the Ukraine-Russian war or ramping up domestic energy production will require more than a one day effort.
You want to see something that is truly fast acting, it is those Mexican retaliatory tariffs. The Mexican tariffs were announced last Monday, soon followed with a prescient analysis by that well-known and distinguished economist, Chuck Schumer. Chuck warns us that six days later the price you pay for Corona and guacamole will ruin your Super Bowl party.
some time to actually ramp up the exploration and production of domestic energy supplies, especially when foung every step of the way by activists.
